Progress Report Grades & Assignments
Progress Report Grades were submitted by all Intrepid teachers yesterday, 9/21/15. If your child's grade is lower than anticipated or you have a question about their grade, you should speak to your child first and then may e-mail Ms. Schuster. All grades can be raised if students re-do assignments or turn in missing assignments.
The following 3 assignments were included in your child's progress report grade:
5th grade: Parts of the Recorder, Master of the Alphabet (A-C), & First 3 Notes on Recorder
6th grade: Sound Production on Mouthpiece/Instrument, MusicProfessor.com Video Lesson Goal Met, & First 3 Notes on Instrument
7th/8th grades: EDpuzzle.com Video Assignment, Noteflight.com Major Scale, & Noteflight.com Chromatic Scale
www.MusicProfessor.com
If your child is a 6th grade band beginner, (s)he has been using www.musicprofessor.com to help with beginning band instruction. It's similar to having a free private lesson teacher via on-demand video. Your child CAN access their MusicProfessor.com account from anywhere they have internet access. If you don't know what your child should sound like or be working on at the beginning stages of musical instrument instruction, log into their www.musicprofessor.com account! Their username is their KIPP e-mail address, and their password is the name of their instrument (lowercase, spelled correctly).
