Students started performing their solos in front of their classes today. All band students (grades 6, 7, and 8) must perform a solo for their peers. While it may seem scary to do this, many of our KIPPsters today were BOLD, BRAVE, FEARLESS, and COURAGEOUS. In other words, they were INTREPID! Solo performances should conclude by the end of the week. Solo audio is being recorded by Ms. Schuster. If you would like a copy of your performance, please bring in a blank CD or flash drive. Students who score highly on the performance in class will be invited to the KIPP Houston Regional Solo Contest on March 1st. Congratulations to the musicians who performed today and best of luck to students who are performing in the coming days!
